1st round Pennant cancelled 2025.

Taking into consideration quite a few courses are closed, the forecast for more rain Thursday and Saturday and the realisation that even if open, very doubtful, there will be no carts on most courses I have made the early call to abandon the first round of pennant scheduled for this Sunday the 18th May,

This will give clubs and players plenty of time to make other arrangements. Clubs will be able to open up time slots for other play, if open.

I will send out an update next Wednesday the 21st May, re the second round. Hopefully we can get some clear, no rain days with strong winds to dry things out.

All teams will receive half points for the first round. If the second round is also abandoned, as per the pennant conditions we will immediately go to the Eisenhower Cup format for play on either the third round or the  day of the finals.
