🏌️‍♂️ Pro-Am Greens Preparation Update 🌱

Over the past week, our team has been hard at work preparing the greens to ensure they’re in top condition for the upcoming Pro-Am. While we didn’t capture every step in photos, here’s a look at the process and the final touches:

✅ What we've done so far:

Rolled greens in a cross-hatch pattern to level the mat and thatch layer.

Solid tyned to 120mm depth to decompact and open the soil profile.

Applied soil ameliorates to boost soil health, prevent compaction, and improve water holding capacity and cation exchange.

Dropped the cut height by 0.25mm and double cut in a cross-hatch pattern for a finer finish.

Applied a copper-based fungicide to dry out thatch and protect plant health.

📸 Final step: Dusting the greens The photos below show our last cultural/mechanical action—topdressing with fine sand, then rubbing it in. This process improves surface firmness, smoothness, and speed, giving players a true roll and allowing us to work the greens a little harder leading into the event.

🌿 What’s next: We’ll be applying trace elements to strengthen the leaf and cell structure, followed by growth regulators to manage leaf size and maintain consistent playing conditions.

Thanks to everyone involved—this preparation sets the stage for a fantastic Pro-Am experience!
